Being strategic with My Mood Meter use

While staff can check in on My Mood Meter at any time, we recommend being intentional about when and how you encourage participation. Asking everyone to check in daily can feel like a burden and may reduce engagement over time.

To maintain momentum and get the most meaningful insights from the Mood Meter Dashboard, it’s important to take a strategic approach. Consider how and where the Mood Meter is embedded across your organisation so it feels purposeful, sustainable, and valuable for everyone involved.

  • In team meetings or toolbox talks:Incorporate My Mood Meter into regular meetings to check in and spark meaningful conversations about how people are feeling.
  • Segment your approach for better insight:For privacy reasons, we don’t collect individual demographic data (such as gender, business unit or location). If you’d like to understand how different teams or regions are feeling, simply send the link to one group at a time. For example, one month to the Auckland team, the next to the Brisbane team, and so on.
