Registered Nutritionist, BSc (Hons) Dietetics, Dip Pos Psyc

Claire trained as a Dietitian and fitness instructor in the UK and after working in the NHS for several years, moved to New Zealand in 2005. For several years Claire worked as a nutritionist at Diabetes New Zealand, taught fitness classes and did personal training in the community as well as working as a nutritionist for a professional rugby team. Claire has been part of the team here at Healthy Food Guide for over 12 years, as well as contributor to the magazine and representing Healthy Food Guide on TV, Radio and in print media, she works as part of our Workplace Wellbeingteam. In addition to her work with Healthy Food Guide, Claire is the owner and director of the private nutrition practice and corporate wellness company Mission Nutrition where she has a wonderful team of people working alongside her. She is a professional speaker, has published two best selling books with Penguin Random House, Lose Weight for Life and Feel Good for Life and she has also released a wellness diary called ‘It’s a beautiful day’.
